Dr. Randall Joseph Mark Peck
Most gracious heavenly Father God, thank You for who You are. Thank
You for being my perfect Father. Thank You for Your everlasting love and unconditional forgiveness. Thank
You for my wife and kids and extended family. Thank You that we are all children
of God. Stay with me always to direct me and help me live a life
You are proud of. I’m nothing without You, but everything with You. I love You so much and look forward to being with
You in heaven. But for now I want to be all I can for You. Your son, Randy
LORD God Almighty, I want to thank you and bless you. Thank you
for guiding my life and protecting me ever since I was a young boy. Thank you for bestowing
many gifts and opportunities upon me, and for making me want to share those. Thank you
LORD Jesus for coming to die for me and rise again that I might have
eternal life. Thank you for coming into my heart 2000 years after your birth.
Thank you God for Julia, my beautiful and loving wife of 25 years. Thank you
for using her to build my self esteem and coaching me to be a better husband,
father, and man of the home. Thank You for her vitality and health. Thank You that Julia has supported me in my
various endeavors. Thank You that Julia started as my best friend and by your
amazing grace has remained so.
Thank you
LORD for Caren and Robbie,
our two children. I am grateful for the ways they honor their father
and mother. I am proud to be their father. Thank you that our children
are good role models and leaders among their friends. Thank you for
their help with tasks of daily living, and for being open with me to
share your feelings and ideas.
The thing I'm most proud of is that our children belong to the family
of God.
Thank you God for my father Darrell and my
mother Jane.
Thank you that I was raised in an environment full of love and trust,
one in which good values were modeled. Thank you Dad and Mom for always
believing in what I could do and for modeling more than 50 years of a
loving marriage. Congratulations to both of you for working as a strong
team to bless so many people. As Abraham Lincoln said about modeling
"There is but one way to train up a child in the way he should go, and
that is to travel it yourself." A good example is worth a thousand
sermons. Proverbs 22:6 states "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Thank you Pastor Mark Jarvis, for
leading me to a personal relationship with Jesus. Thank you for exposing me to
American Family
Radio, for being my spiritual mentor,
for creating a hunger in me to read the Bible, and for being a close friend. God
used you to bless me and to help transform me, my family, and my ministry in a very
favorable way.
Thank you Mark for your participation in our weekly coaching group. Because
of you, I discovered that integrity is doing what you
KNOW is right, even if you're the only one.
Thank you to my three brothers, Larry, Dennis, and Kevin,
and their wives, for listening, for visiting, for sharing ideas, and
for being a productive part of a family I am proud to be a member of.
Thank you Jim Kim,
my father-in-law, for being one of my closest friends for two decades.
Your never ending encouragement, support, and friendship has kept me
believing that more is always possible.
Thank
you Michael Stay for glorifying God by being a Christ-like leader to me in my
efforts to be a Christ-like leader. I feel that the consultation you did for me
and my business has been the best thing I have ever done for my business. Thank
you Michael for your participation in our weekly coaching group.
Thank
you Matt and Elayna Gregory for modeling to me what a Godly marriage,
family, and ministry looks like. Thank you Matt for your participation in our
weekly coaching group.
Thank you Rosa Zanetti-Veronese,
my former nanny (my "second mother"), for sharing your love with me and
my family while I was growing up in Italy as a little boy. My visit to
Italy in October 1999 reminded me I have a second family, including
four brothers (Marco,
Stephano, Emanuele, Daniele) and one sister (Sonia Veronese). A special
thanks to Sonia, my "sister" I never knew. The way you smile, the way
you laugh, the way your eyes speak inspired me to want to help the
Italian people in whatever way I can.
Thank you Father Leo (Precious Blood Catholic Church), for your
personal care and love, for your thoughtful sermons, and for years of giving in so many ways to so many people.
Thank you Brion Dugas
(CRNA), my closest work colleague for the 12 years I worked at Culpeper
Hospital, for a special friendship and for helping coach me on values
in the workplace and at home.
Thank you Glenn & Yube Wahquist,
for your unending support, professional advice, and wonderful
friendship. You inspired me to keep on giving. You both are masters at
communication and effectiveness.
Thank you Dr. Mark Gloudeman,
a general surgeon and former partner of George E. Broman, for a
wonderful friendship, compassion in my time of need, a good sense of
humor, your encouragement for me to stay involved with technology, your
referral of me to Andy Dewey, and your leadership at Culpeper
Hospital. I was proud to serve by your side as a physician to care for
patients.
Thank you Dr. Peter Godfrey,
an obstetrician and gynecologist, for a long standing friendship, for
compassion in my times of need, for your referral to Will Hunter, for
your leadership at Culpeper Regional Hospital, and for sharing your
business savvy with me. I am proud to have worked with you.
Thank you Diane Walkiewicz, my sister-in-law, for all your support, but especially for referring me to several books, including Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People and Spencer Johnson's The Precious Present.
Thank you Bill Walkiewicz,
Diane's brother, for leading me to several books written by Og Mandino,
especially "The Greatest Salesman in the World". That book has inspired
me to be a great salesman. I'm proud to tell people I know you and that
you are part of my family.
Thank you Rev. Richard Kim
for marrying Julia and I, for baptizing Julia and Jane Kim, for being
the glue of faith for the Kim family, and for showing me how to use the
Internet as the superhighway of communication to spread God's Word
further and to more people.
Thank
you to my close Christian friends who attend Bible study with me in Culpeper. A
special thanks to Wayne Duncan for getting me involved in adult Bible study for
my first time.
Thank you Bob Jones,
for being a great friend at a time when I really needed one, for the
many laughs, for sharing what you know about technology, and for your
never ending gift of your time for me and for others who ask.
Thank you Dr. Harvey Austin,
for caring enough about a total stranger (me) to share and transform my
life in a 15 minutes conversation. I respect you for working tirelessly
to support The Hunger Project, an organization committed to eliminating
hunger throughout the world. It's been said that a picture is worth a
thousand words. Well, with your use of language, your words are worth a
thousand pictures.
Thank you for all those not
specifically acknowledged here, but who have made a significant
difference in my life. Many of you know who you are, but there are also
many of you who don't appreciate your positive impact on my life. Thank
you so much for caring about me, my goals, and my dreams.
